Ludwig Van Beethoven:
Without doubt the greatest ever. Beethoven
was mainly known for his famous 9 symphonies. Modern day audiences have
somewhat commercialized the 5th and the 9th symphonies however the
all of his 9 symphonies have been just as influential as each other. After
losing his hearing in his 20s Beethoven continued to compose just as viciously
as before. At the time of writing his 9th and final symphony (debatable
his best) Beethoven was stone death. He never heard his final symphony; a cruel
irony really when almost every human in history after him has. (Even if you don’t realize you have you probably have) Today Beethoven is still the most played
composer in professional orchestras all around the world.Some good recordings to listen to 
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Second only to Beethoven (many may argue), Mozart pinnacle of musical protege. The only real reason that Mozart didn’t surpass Beethoven (again very debatable) was his lack of life. At the mere age of 35 Mozart passed away and left his legacy to the world. While Beethoven was considered kind of the symphony Mozart was definitely the master of the Opera.

Sebastian Bach:
Bach was from a completely different time than
Beethoven and Mozart. While Beethoven and Mozart were on the verge of financial
independency Bach made his money very much from very rich donors. He lived in a
much more religiously dominant time and music from the Baroque period really
reflected this. There were certain restraints on music and how music could be
written. Vastly different from some of the contemporary music that we write
today.
